I am a classically trained cello performer highly interested in multidisciplinary projects, involving experimentalism and improvisation. Within my career, I have had the chance to premier and record several pieces, including my own creations, and to collaborate with a large number of composers, artists and researchers. Over the last years, my role as instrumentalist started to expand towards the performing and visual arts. Currently I am deeply involved as cello and action performer in experimental film, theater, physical theater, contemporary dance, contemporary circus, and performance art. Along this path, I started to explore different sonic possibilities in my cello, by using modifications, exploring different amplifications and applying different tunings to it.  These experiences had allowed me to find a more individual and dynamic instrumental identity.
