Educator

My path as educator started back in 2000 combining cello, chamber music and improvisation courses. Currently I work as a Lecturer at the Global Music department at the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki University of the Arts). There, I hold subjects such as Global Ensemble, Transcultural Ensemble, Multidisciplinary improvisation, and individual artistic and research tuitions related to composition, improvisation, performance, cultural identity and artistic identity in Bachelor, Master and Doctoral level. Also, over the last years I have been teaching and assisting diverse practical and theoretical courses as visiting lecturer within different scopes and institutions in Europe and South America. Among them, Laponia Improvisations, Music Technology department of the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki Theatre Academy, Helsinki Fine Arts Academy, University of Helsinki, Helsinki Conservatory, Music Academy of Oslo, Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, Tartu Heino Eller Academy, Basel University, FLUSS Austria, University of Caldas, Javeriana University, Conservatory del Liceu Barcelona, ESMUC Barcelona, Conservatory of Gran Canaria, Latvian Conservatory, and Jazz Academy Lithuania.
